Mar 11, Rob rated it it was amazing. Hardegree hareegree truth tables, sentential logic, and predicate logic in a simple and memorable way, with everyday language that is easy to understand. He gives the rules of his system of symbolic logic without using their traditional names for the most part.
Most rules are named by the action that is performed in the inference; for example, instead of Addition, in which the reasoner has “P” and then infers “P v Q”, Hardegree has “wedge in,” and instead of modus ponens and modus tollenshe has ” Hardegree covers truth tables, sentential logic, and predicate logic in a simple and memorable way, with everyday language that is easy to understand.
